Seasonal Shift – Qi Shield
Now is the perfect time to set a foundation for
If it seems to soon to think of cold and flu season, reframe it this way
“the best way to be healthy and strong is to stay healthy and strong.”
As the days begin to shorten and the temperature shifts quickly it is important to be prepared.
In TCM the external elements (wind, cold, heat damp, dry) “call in” the pathogenic influences. They leave us susceptible to feeling run down.
In our coastal climate late summer provides some amazingly beautiful, warm days and some chilly evenings and mornings. The temperature can drop, quickly leaving us without adequate layers of warmth to keep out the external elements.
Dah Da Dah… enter the lurking feeling of constantly fighting off a cold, feeling run down and chilly and a cough that comes in the morning &/or at night.
Plan ahead, set yourself up now for an autumn and winter full of strong qi and health!

About Katie Briggs
Time, breath and thought stop and start together.
My awareness defines my journey.
Love is always speaking, if you listen…
It doesn’t have to look a certain way before Love is present.
Listen to the silence.
All my thoughts are creative.
Don’t believe everything you think!
I B-R-E-A-T-H-E deeply and slowly.
Dare to be conscious in all you do.
As above, so below. As within, so without.
I mind my mind.
You are a blessing and a healing influence on this world.
Fear (False Evidence Appearing Real)
Enjoy giving expression to your creative potential.
You are the one you’ve been waiting for.
Within us is always that Peace which is forever listening and open-minded.
I plant the seed in my mind to take root in my heart.
I assume the power, not just the responsibility for my life.
I feed my subconscious daily, with healthy, delicious and satisfying thoughts.
In this very breath, I accept peace.
